"New" 75 gallon, yay craigslist

Besides my two GSPs, I have in another tank my husband's senegal bichir. I say it's his, but I take care of him. We have been planning on upgrading his tank so I've been searching craigslist and local sales. Craigslist here is ridiculous. People charge up to 3 times as much as something costs new, and often times they are a horid mess and come with useless and hideous things. Recently I found an add stating that they had a "100 gallon", which I knew had to be a guess because 100 gallons isn't a super common size. I was hoping it was at least 75, and of course would have loved it to be larger. So, it was listed as having lights, "pump", and stand all for $100, we get there and they lied about the measurements to make it sound larger, it was just 55 gallons. It did not have a light hood, I don't know how, but the biowheels were mangled, I think a cat may have played with them, or they put them in the washing machine to clean them, and the stand was cheap and paint chipped. I say to him, "Where is the light hood?" he says, "Well, it got chewed so I was afraid it wouldn't be safe so I threw it out." I was annoyed that he lied in the ad, but also thought it was funny that he unintentionally made a pun. His wife comes in and proceeds to tell me, "It's a hundred gallons, and it's 199 in the store, and that stand is 300 dollars alone", when in actuality a 55 gallon at Petco right now is 55 dollars, and that stand is $129 at Petsmart, and it's truly not worth that even, it was quite hokey. So I gave her the "Are you serious?" look, so then she points at the 3/4 of the way full milky water ten gallon next to it, with 3 very unfortunate large goldfish in it and says, "See that's 10 gallons so you can see that that right there is 100 gallons." So my husband looked at me and asked me how many gallons it is, I said "It's 55 gallons", and I had measured it for them since they had done it incorrectly, neither one of their facial expressions changed. My husband said, "Well, yeah see it's 55 gallons, it's not 100. So yeah. Um it's not 100 gallons, so we're not buying it.
But today, right above an ad called "5 gallon fish tank vary nice", in which the ad states, "5 gallon aquarium for fish for sell it was a starter kit i payed 30 for it will sell for 45 includes all the fish", was an ad for a 75 gallon. However tempting it was to scoop up that 5 gallon death trap that is such an awesome deal for only a 50% upcharge of the new price, I decided to check out the 75 gallon instead. I know, I'm as insane as that deal I passed up.
I was so pleasantly surprised. Tank, light strip, magnum 350 canister filter, some type of hang on filter, some drift wood, rocks, various fish related products, some salt mix left over from the saltwater tank he took down in the next room, a bunch of very tasteful fake plants, and I'm not sure what else he added to it all, and a very sturdy well built custom stand all for $120. I'll post some pictures as soon as I have some, I'm so super excited to set it up, but I must say I really wish I were setting it up for my puffers instead of the bichir, but their tank upgrade is the next. Our bichir's name is Mortimer, and he has one tank mate who is the most boring fish in the world, Seven the Blue Acara.
