GSP not so Green anymore

So I have had this GSP for a few weeks now. He used to be Green except when he sleeps but as of the last 3-4 days he says dark colored. His belly is always white but his body is dark grayish with the neon green spot on top of his head. Any one got any ideas of what could be bothering him?
1) Your water parameters - pH, Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrates and salinity (if appropriate).
pH 8.5
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrates <5
SG 1.0002
2) Tank size and a list of ALL inhabitants. Include algae eaters, plecos, everything.
20 gallon tank (1) 1'' long puffer (1) ghost shrimp
3) Feeding, water change schedule and a list of all products you are using or have added to the tank (examples: Cycle, Amquel, salt, etc)
Feeding: bloodworms, live snails, frozen shrimp, worms, seafood snacks
Salt - Coral life
Water conditioner - Aquamel
4) What changes you've made in the tank in the last week or so. Sometimes its the little things that make all the difference.
None.... the graying color scared me so did not increase the salinity of the water when I did his water change
5) How long the aquarium has been set up, and how did you cycle it? If you don't know what cycling is read this: Fishless Cycling Article and familiarize yourself with all the information. Yes. All of it.
Approximately 6 months, cycled
cycled fishlessly
