I have a sick pea puffer that has not been eating for the last week.Today he has been laying at the bottom of the tank not moving.I have been feeding my pea puffers unthawed blood worms. Both of my other 2 pea puffers are eating and doing fine. They are in a 5 gallon aquarium right now my ph is at 7.0 and the temp is at 80.The ammonia reading is 0ppm and the nitrite and nitrate i got tested at petsmart and the said the levels were good.Iam just needing som advice on how to keep my puffer alive.I have some aquarium salt on hand but no other medications due to my budget.Does adding a little aquarium salt help in the aid of a sick pea puffer?Any helpful advice would be appreciated.

Try soaking the bloodworms with chopped/crushed garlic. That may help entice it to eat. You can also try wiggling a worm in front of it. You can also try live blackworms. We have some feeding articles that I've linked to here:

How long have you had the fish and can you get numbers for nitrite and nitrate too? How does it look (skin, body condition, colour), are it's eyes clear? Is it's belly sunken in? Have you treated for internal parasites?

Your tank is only large enough for a single dwarf puffer. We also need to know the answers to the other Qs above, including exact numbers for your nitrite/nitrate. Are the other puffers chasing it or anything?
