GSP staying "lumpy" hours/days after eating

1) Water parameters - Ammonia-0, Nitrites -0, Nitrates >5.

2) Tank size and a list of ALL inhabitants- 1 GSP, occasional snail.

3) Feeding, water change schedule and a list of all products you are using or have added to the tank- Water changes are 50% weekly with water conditioner. No other chemicals.

4) What changes you've made in the tank in the last week or so - No changes, just the occasional snail and I've recently introduced him to frozen brine shrimp.

5) How long the aquarium has been set up, and how did you cycle it? It's been cycled and running for about 4 months now.

So on to my issue. Momo (my GSP) has been appearing differently after eating than usual. He normally is a bit lumpy after eating because of the fod in his stomach and then it goes down a few hours later. For about the past week the "lumps" have not gone away after eating and I'm wondering what this could be? I don't see how any IPs would have gotten in. Everything has been consistent except for my recent introduction of brine shrimp to Momo's diet. I'll try to get a picture, but he's quite rediculously camera shy.

Thanks in advance for any help.

do you have a picture, that would help..

Food lumps can appear different than IP lumps. I have seen one that looked like he had popcorn is his belly..

Also, what are you feeding in addition to brine shrimp and snail..and where do you get the snails from.

Like I said, I'll try to get a picture but he doesn't sit still long enough. He normally eats frozen bloodworms. The snails are from my snail breeder tank.
