HEllo,
My DP has had live food for about 4 months or more and I still can't feed my fish frozen food which would be the most ideal solution.
I know a Dp can go without food for a week so should I only put in fresh frozen food for a week and try to break it's will?
I get to about 2 days and then lose the plot and stick in some more live food.
OR-
Should I try to mix live and frozen worms together and hopefully accidently the fish will start to eat the frozen food.

Any help on sorting this cheeky fish out would be appreciated.

define live food...

you can also thaw the frozen food in garlic puree and that is a POWERFUL attractant... it may work

Live food- Live Bloodworm, Daphnia, Snails, Glassworm.

Yep, tried the Garlic and my Otos loved the frozen bloodworm and ate them all; wrong fish though. Dopey fish. Puff wasn't impressed though.

You are lucky, my otos will eat nothing but algae and diatoms. I also feed my DPs with a 6" pair of tweezers and they eat directly from them, try that. They have a hearty appetite though, I could duct tape bloodworms to a rock and they would still get to them. That's another reason I feed with tweezers, each ones gets the right amount, 2 or 3 BWs per fish.

Sounds a bit of nightmare.
I have an update and Puff seems to be taking a few unfrozen Bloodworms which is a relief. It's about 5 days now and Puff has only had a few unfrozen worms.
I may give Puff a break with live food and then try it again. It could undo the work done so far though.

My Otos seem a bit strange as they do eat dead bloodworm. Good for tidying up though.

try a bit of cotton or fishing line with a little prawn or anything like that tied to it, move it around your self or tie it out side the tank so it moves around in your return flow.
if he goes for it then he might just like it and take to it with out the line.

Good news folks. The fussy little mite has sussed it out over the weekend. I have frozen bloodworms dancing in the worm feeding cone, dancing about in the current and Puff has finally been biting.
She does a very odd thing of being able to suck down almost 3/4 of a worm and then throw is back up and all the worm's inners have gone and all is left is the skin. Puff will then eat the other end and then throw up the skin where the worm's skin floats off.
When eating live bloodworms the whole of the worm is consumed like eating spagetti with no waste at all. Strange fish.

Some of my puffers do the same thing.

I got to admit that I think my fish may have been a wee bit fat. With eating or not eating frozen food my Puff is looking leaner. She is always hunting. Just spat out frozen bloodworm without consuming anything of it.
Damn fish starting to refuse frozen worms again!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARRGGGGHHHH!!! 6 FEKKIN' MONTHS OF THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
