Just starting out

So I fell in love with puffers soon after getting interested in fish keeping.
I loved how he'd follow you around and his silly little smile - He was a porcupine puffer.
I was just getting started with freshwater - I have a 25g with some barbs and a couple others.
I didn't think I was ready for a marine fish tank so I thought i'd wait - also that you can never find them near me. ):
Then I saw a little spotted green guy, and I loved him.
I learned he was brackish, and got a little 10g tank for him the next day since I couldn't stop thinking about him.
It doesn't have much in it yet, and I want to change some things - gravel to sand.
ANYWAYS...
I was wondering if there was a buddy I could get for him... either another GSP or if I'd be able to get a green puffer since I did see one of those at Big Als. Just never any porcupine puffers.
I did mention that they don't have a big selection and they're going to be ordering them a lot more often, so woo!
Anyways, any tips for my new brackish tank is also appreciated.
