RemoraPro and tons of micro bubbles.

Post by Brandon8521 »

I picked up a used Remora Pro and after almost a week im still getting tons of micro bubbles. My original plan was to get the prefilter box but just by the looks of the huge mag3 the box would be enormous and wouldnt work well in my tank with all of the rock I have. Has anyone had trouble with a remora that didnt stop with the microbubbles or is it just takeing longer then normal to break in. I have put a sponge in the inside of where it covers the output but it doenst help much.

Pre-filter box is the only way I got the micro bubbles to stop. You might be able to make a custom smaller one, but at least the prefilter box neatly hides the ugly mag pump...

Well its finally broken in (except for a few hours after any shotoff.) Im so glad my tank doesnt have to be turkey basted every few hours anymore to get the micro bubbles off of everything.
