Found a guy that is willing to take payments on a wet/dry that he said he can setup so it wont overflow. He runs a local fish rescue so Im helpin that cause out by buying this system from him, plus he comes and sets it all up.

Anyways onto my question, he wants to know if I want a spray bar or single outlet? So what says TPF which is better for a Fahaka?

I think either would work for a Fahaka, I personally like spraybars. I dont think the Fahaka would care either way.

Since He is doing the setuP, perhaps ask him to leave the outlet line longer, and preferably flexible so you can have it at the top like an Eheim type spraybar or situate in the bottom of the tank to keep the substrate clean.
No clue whether or not Fahaka likes a current to swim against, but a single outlet would provide them with one more so than a spraybar. IMO

well Ive been thinking about it, and Bloat tends to stay on the opposite side of the tank as the output on my filter now. So maybe he doesnt like the current that much.

i think if you can get some sort of current that goes the length of the tank he would like swimming in it a little more

a spray bar would do that

My Fahaka and mbu tanks had significant current along the front glass, less along the back but generally a circulation along all sides of the tanks. Multiple canisters, W/D returns and veggie filter returns make current easy to have and control.
