The Puffer Forum

Hi everyone

well my lil fig 8 arrived a couple of days ago and im officially in luv with "Percy" ..... I went to feed my lil man today and noticed what appeared to be a bubble nest , it looks identicle to the bubblenests that are blown by my betta boys and was curious to know if puffers blew these nests too?????

Hi & welcome.

Sounds more like puffer poo from a puffer with internal parasites?

Ive havent heard of a puffer that made a bubble nest. Is it floating or sitting on the bottom?

I doubt very seriously that those bubbles are from your puffer, or they aren't bubbles.

But let me congratulate you on your new arrival of Percy (cute name).
