I just recently changed my puffers tank. I had her in a 20H and switched her over to a 20L. I also upgraded her filter to one that is rated for a 55gal. There is a pretty strong current now in the new tank. Do puffers like high flow like this?
(She is a F8 puffer kept in a low brackish tank. Salinity is around 1.003 - 1. 004. I am floating the old media to help reduce an all out cycle.)

Some puffers really enjoy playing in a current. When I had F8's they did appear to enjoy swimming into the current and then letting it blow them backwards. So yours may very well enjoy it too.

Many puffers do enjoy the exercise, but they should always have low-current area available for refuge/naps/sleep. SAPs really need both - they are main-channel fish (but not necessarily out in the main flow, rater they swim closer to the edges) and swim against strong currents, but feed in plant and wood thickets.tangles. F-8 also enjoy current exercise, but IME a bit less than SAPs.
