Hello All
Look to get a new puffer to get. I was wondering if any one could give me some ideas I was looking for a puffer that is more on the active side.

My modestus are very active. Very pretty fish, silvery white on the bellies and metallic lime green on the backs. You can see them in my Gallery.

What size tank would this puffer be going into? That will make a difference to what you can get.

dwarf puffers of course :O) the five new babies i got the other day are very responsive, coming to the front of the tank when i show up ... they do spend time swimming around in the plants so not visible 24/7 but definitely active ... they keep following the bigger ones around which is very cute ... and you can get them to eat right off the giant tweezers :O) and so much easier than a figure 8 which will require snails otherwise the teeth keep on growing which is not like that for the dwarf ones ... and why do you want to be messing around with measuring salinity and all that :O) i know, i am bias :O)

It's like spam, and I am already irritated this morning-On my soap box now!
I am sure that many puffers are insecure. Some puffers have so much pressure put upon them to look good. So, I would like to touch on a subject that is near to my heart, puffer breast enhancements.
Over the years puffers have tried several things to enhance their ta-tas. Most fail, especially breast enhancement creams. I met a porcupine puffer named Glenda*. Her story is a sad one. IN an effort to get rid of the spikes on her boobage she used one of these so called breast enhancement creams. Instead of shrinking her spikes she started to grow chin hair! Now, not only did she have spikes that poked threw her bikini top, she also now looked like the wolfman!
I met another puffer named Margaret* who went the surgical route. Sure she got some biggins, but the surgery was expensive...and now other female puffers will not socialize with Margaret as they now call Margaret bad names rhyming with "snore"
Young Puffers here me now! Breast enhancement is not necessary, love yourself! You are built the way you are supposed to be built! And let's face it...the opposite sex normally does not care what size our na-nas are...in fact they are normally just glad to see them......If you feel pressure from a man to get some better boulders then he is not the right man for you!
Don't fall for the hype..breast enhancement creams cannot possible actually enhance breasts, if it actually worked..you could get it at Walmart..
*Some puffer's names were changed to protect their identity

LOL purple, that's not gonna make much sense, since I'm deleting that posters sig. He's banned. I might have given him a chance, since some of his postasare on subject (other's make no sense for the thread they're in) but there's way too much spam about body parts this morning. I'm irritated too.

Just so people will not think I am crazy-
A few days ago a new member joined and in the signature was and "advertisement" for what he/she did as a living..no big deal..
Today, a new member joins (same person) but this time in the signature was an add for "breast enhancement" and "breast creams"
It was weird because both profiles seemed to respond somewhat appropriately to threads...but when I saw the signature today, and realized it was the same member, just a new profile...ticked me off..

One of my puffers has breast implants...Seems she did it as a career move before I got her. She rambles on and on about how her daddy ran off with some floozy sucker fish. She asked me to install one of these in her tank and for some reason I find glitter floating at the top of the water all the time

I've got one Amazon puffer - debating if to get another or two with a tank upgrade as bumble bee is very personable. Ok so the teeth is an issue but I have a small tank especially for breeding snails and shrimp which I find is a quick water change once a week drop in a few shrimp and algae wafers a few times a week and you have one happy puffer!
Another problem is they can surf the glass which is a sign of stress but bumble bee rarely does it unless he's after something (he learned he gets attention). I got around this by heavily planting and this i think is the most important; when I went to get one I sat in-front of the tank and watched them all - some were constantly surfing the glass/sides and one or two didn't and in the end, one (which i picked) started following my finger around the glass! So I can't speak for any other puffer but bumble bee picked me and is a lot of fun - And i'm probably seen as completely crazy
