60g tank. 1 gsp. SG: 1.012. Instant Ocean Marine Salt. I cant raise the SG! I put the SG in the bucket to 1.022 *Full saltwater!* And put it in. And his tanks still at 1.012. How do you raise brackish SG?

A hydrometer.

My first thought is that your hydrometer isnt working correctly.

You might want to invest in a refractometer and calibrate it properly as what you're describing simply isn't possible. Sounds like there's something going on with your hydrometer. Do you know how to calibrate it? Might need to be calibrated again.

It works fine for my Figure 8s tank and. If i test my freshwater tank it reads no salt. So it couldnt be broken for just one tank..?

If I were you I would measure the SG from all of your tanks and then take water from all three of your tanks to a LFS and have them test it so see if all the measurements coincide. Then you will know for sure that it isn't just your hydrometer.
