Ok I thinkin about takin a dive into salt. Thinking about doing a 10G nano, found a unused tank on CL for 10 bucks. I have a 18" F15T8 Natural Daylight bulb in a housing already. Is this bulb good enough for a salt tank?

For corals, defiantly no. You could get a ARO-220 ballast for 39$ and overdrive a couple of T8 bulbs if you can DIY some fixtures, but probably the best bet is a 96watt quad 20" PC light, if you are looking to do corals. Daylight bulbs for the most part are way too warm of a spectrum (~6,500k).

+1 Even if that bulb was prober temperature, not sure if a one 15w t8 would be powerful enough. Get proper lighting so you can properly house coral:)
