that happens .. mine do the same. One will explore (and gorge) and 2 will shy away. Any disturbance will cause them to glass surf.

what do you mean disturbance..... i've got one guy on the front glass, one guy on the back glass, and the third guy is always swimming upwards into the current created by the filter outlet.

when I put the food in the tank they freak out for a bit and glass surf... when I turn on the lights they do the same.. when I trim the plants they do it also.
I have never seen a fish so intent on pushing themselves through the glass as my SAPs do

i put in a few frozen bloodworms and my puffers dont seem too interested, the worms just fall to the bottom and stay there.
should i clean them out soon after or will they eventually get eaten off the sand?

ok thanks

thats what i did last night.
one of those whole frozen cubes is wayyyyy tooo much.
i give them less than a quarter of the cube and they cant eat it all.
i give the rest of the cube to my convict cichlids or refreeze it

Refreezing isn't sanitary and can give your fish diseases. If your fish can't consume it all, you need to throw out the rest.

do you know of any other little fish that would work well with the SAP?
just wondering if theres a fish that would go around and eat all the left over food?

sorry i didnt mean refreeze...... i take the cube(while frozen) and break off a piece and put it in the tank, then put the rest of the cube in the freezer.... without letting it thaw at all.
is that still ok?
