Fire eel as a body guard

I have just bought my first bumble bee goby but its tiny and was worried about all my other fish including a convict chiclid but after having a little bit of a chase the little guy decided to befriend my 6" long fire eel Slinky and now he has become his sort of body guard! Hahah they even sleep together, its quite funny to watch this little and large combo. Anyone ever heard of something similar?

I've got a Bumblebee goby, actually two, but for whatever reason a male guppy has taken to this one goby like it's his mate or something. They swim together, and the guppy nudges him like he's trying to court him. We think it's so funny, and it is when you see them swimming together. The guppy was put in there by accident and I can't take him out now because I think it's just too cute that he's teamed up with this BB goby.
I'd like to just add something else while I'm leaving the comment above. I've just read your other post about having the BB goby in with the cichlid and that your Fire eel is being it's bodyguard. The thing I would worry about is that Fire eels aren't very bold in themselves, and I doubt he could literally prevent that cichlid from eating your BB goby if the cichlid wanted to. I would just be very wary of how that cichlid is going to behave once it's a little older and more mature.
