Sweet pictures... What size tank is this? Is that a stars and stripes puffer in there? Only saw him in the background in one shot. His colors are way different than mine. Got anymore pics of him?

Great tanks, how many do you keep? I hate my Engineer goby--he's dug up every inch of my DSB & covered up a few nice corals that were on the sandbed.

I love your tank it's really nice. Those coral cat fish get very big and very ugly just as a warning.

The puffer is a white spotted puffer, there are pictures of him in the Giant puffer section when he was a bit smaller, he only shows his true colours when the lights go out, most of the time is quite dark and sedate

Gobies can be buggers for digging things up, we had a yellow headed sleeper goby once but he jumped into the overflow we've since changed it so it cannot happen again.
Gutted about that because he was such a perfect little chap and no one bothered him, which i have to be careful about at my female devil damsel doesn't tend to like gobies which restricts us to what we can have.
My eel goby spends its life under the rocks with just his head poking out, he's made a network of tunnels under all of the rock, great little chap, i wish i'd got another when they were available, i think hes about 5-6inches long now and very fat! lol

The tank is a 149 gallon aquarium, we're hoping to upgrade when we move house, which we're hoping will be in the next 12 months, if we do though, then we're going monster-tank, looking at a 8 or 10 footer!!! that will be fun and very exciting if we do, that will be a main aquarium and we'll obviously have some smaller ones for the other puffers and my partner wants to keep more shrimp too, hes a bit of a amrine fish fanatic and of course everything has to be bigger and better with men, haha!

I hate to put a damper on this thread such a beautiful tank and fish but just with just those 3 tangs your going to need a bigger tank than 145 gallon within the next year. Have you ever seen the size of a blue or naso tang when full grown? I have a client with one of each plus a green spotted puffer and a few damsels in a 300 gallon and that is just right for all of them.

Its no problem Trekenk, i understand your concern and am totally aware of the sizes these fish can acheive, at the moment my naso is the biggest fish in there at 7inches.

As i said above i am looking to upgrade, but if anything obstructs those plans i do have places the fish can go, i know the limit and i won't let anyone suffer over it

I have been upgrading as the fish grow, when my fish were tiny babies i started of with a 90 gallon tank, and yes i had my regal tang and yellow tang then! plus various other fish including some i still have.

This tank i have now was an upgrade itself 8 months ago from a 4 footer, who the regal tang again outgrew. The naso was only purchased after this upgrade, so yes we are already considering a next upgrade
