Hi guys, i was recently feeding my fahaka some clams and when i took up the clams, i saw this tiny little greenish/light brown dots swimming in it. It was definitely alive and moving all about and there are tons of em. So i examined my substrate carefully, and i saw these tiny 'MITES' moving all around the substrate. Some of em are moving with the current. I observed my fahaka and i also observed some of em were 'attached' to its tail fin and some to its body...Those dots you see in the pics in the clam water are those tiny 'mites' wich i mentioned...

Do any of the you here know what that is? is it fish lice? or some kinda parasite? What medication do i need to use to rid of it? can i use a UV steriliser?

Thanks !!!!

Hard to tell from the pics because I can see them up close.

Were the clams fed fresh or were they frozen first?

It is usually advised that they are froze before feeding to kill any bugs.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh that is sooo scary... :( Gives me chills... IDK what they are, but what Polish linked - doesn't look like it's probably a good thing.
