Probably not.. these types of fish generally get really HUGE and are very nervous, jumpy fish. You'd need a huge tank, and it would get big enough to try to eat your puffer at some point, very likely. And puffers often don't do well with hyper, jumpy tankmates, it stresses them out.

"Myaj" has been posting on The Puffer Forum since June 4th 2005. Very near to 5 years . I beleive her.

ROFL.. I've been on here a lot longer than that, that was just when we rolled out the new software and all the settings "reset"

Big fish eat little fish. That's just the way things work.

But seriously, the tank size requirements alone should make you think twice! If you want to get one, research what you'd need to keep it long term and set up a tank for it SEPARATE from your GSP.

This should convince you: They grow to 18" & are schooling fish.
