Almost to marine

Hi I have a 55 gallong brackish aquarium that is getting close to full marine. My current sg is 1.020. By next week I will order a skimmer and some live rock. I plan on having my gsp, a few clowns (not maroon), and maybe 1 or two more fish which I am still undecided on, in my tank. My question is will I be able to have any inverts to help keep my tank clean with my GSP? If I can do I still need to suck off the extra food particles on my sand or do I just change out some water each week and leave it? Sorry I am a nooby to marine.

1.020 is MArine. I added maroon clowns and blue damsel with my GSP in a 55g. And about 20 hermits and a turbo snail and two astrea snails. None have been eaten by my two GSP. I added those at 1.020 sg aswell.

why rush it? have some patience and wait till 1.025 to ensure best health of your critters.

I am in no rush I just like to be prepared so I give them the best living environment.
