Dwarf Puffer

So I recently (3 weeks ago) bought another DP, named 02, after my first DP (Obama) died.
It was recommended to me that I should deworm 02 regardless if he shows signs of internal parasites (because that is what possibly killed Obama).
I was wondering what the best product would be use? With Obama I used Jungle Parasite Clear Tank Buddies (which I'm not convinced worked).
Thank you in advance for your answers and comments!!

I have heard only good things about the jungle tabs. Was it possible that it was administered too late?
Or you can choose the liquid med of your choice and treat the food.

The best way to dose ip's is by the food. Gets right to the source. Praziquantel based meds are good for flatworms, Levamisole drugs are good for round worms, and Metronidazole is good for hexamita. Jungle makes a food combo drug that is usually very effective, but im not sure dwarfs would eat it. As for the jungle tabs im sure they work well for some stuff, but
A. I dont see anything in them for roundworms.
B. Adding meds to the water just isn't that efficient for IP's
It is most definitely possible that it was too late. Possibly it was to late before you even purchased them.( obviously i couldn't say as i dont know the situation)

Thanks for the advice!! It was probably to late as I had had him for over a year before I realized that I needed to treat him

. He was always so happy and active up until a few days before he died.
I will give my jungle tabs a shot again and see how 02 does. O2 already has a better body shape than Obama ever did so that is good! 02 is also a baby (I mean he is tiny...so cute) so it will take him some time to grow up (I heard it takes about 6 months for DP's to fully mature).
The LPS that I bought the DP's from has no real clue about caring for them/DP's (which is really sad) or other puffers because one of the employee's tried to tell me that all puffers were only saltwater expect for one really large puffer that was $500 which was freshwater

. I was like "oh ya, interesting!"....instead of getting into an argument about it (which I really wanted to so I could set the person straight), I bought my DP and left.
