Mussels

I recently picked up some frozen smallish mussels from meijer. They are organic and whole. I planned on giving one in a half shell to my F8 every few days as a special meal. I also have 2 'pea puffers'. If i gave the mussel to my F8 and let him eat his fill, then give the leftovers to my peas, would that be okay? i would monitor them to make sure they dont over eat, but i was just curious. My pea's are very small still, like minnow sized. My F8 is close to 2 inches(with tail). Any input would be appreciated. thanks!
