you can get small red clawed tropical crabs.
at what size can a fahaka take on one?
mines about 2" at the moment.
do you need to take off crab pinchers?
or wait until fahaka grows couple more inches?

better to take off the pinchers, id wait till at least 6 inches tho, but all in all live food has chance of carry parasites and not worth the risk, > imo <

I think small crays have thinner shells.

I gave my puffy crabs, crayfish, small lobsters (i think thats what their called), big snails, etc.
Puffy is about 6" in length w/o tail.
He just loves the crabs.

My LFS has fiddler crabs for $2. Their body is about the size of a quarter, and my fahaka is about 3 inches long with tail. I left the pinchers on, and the crab didn't stand a chance. Gobble Gobble Crunch.
