hes no fear of us either, comes to front of tank, exploring, eating etc!
hes in very good shape and weight!

nice!! A word of caution ... that little thermometer in the corner ... it will get broken eventually.

Nice grow-out tank! He might appreciate a cave or two, but it looks wonderful. He's adorable - how big is he?

Sticky ones aren't as accurate. How about an in-tank plastic one, or a probe?

hes sleeping inside the big fern plant, and its cave like under the big filter.
hes about 2" at the moment.
will look up the caves and thermometer ideas as well!

Then its actually 105 UK/ 126 US gallons. Juwel dont take into account the space the filter takes up when measuring tank volume for some bizare reason but perhaps A Juwel Rio 477.46 doesnt have the same ring to it.

i thought you were gona give me some bad news there about rio 400 tanks!
