Marine parasites

Hyt everyone I was wondering if anyone knowS any good links with some pics or just plain ol good info on what to watch for that may be bad. I've noticed all kinds of stuff on my live rock and even my dead lace rock has some movement on it now. I can see a baby dot running around sometimes( about the size of a pin head, reminds of those lil red spiders I'd see as a kid playing on the ground. Also I can see lil fuzzy guys poking outta my deadish lace rock and they look like lil trees or flat feather dusters and are few mm tall and white. All I kno so far is aptasia is bad and haven't been able to find a site with some good info and pics. And ideas what I might be looking at. Also I seen a lil looking red dot with five delicate fingers stickin out turning in multiple directions catching stuff. It moves on it's own so I know it isn't the flow moving em. Just weird all the stuff that come outta live rock. The other day I found a half eaten scallop with meat in it still. Musta been my killer puffs who found it. Thx again for any help you may provide.

I tried looking around some, I could swear I remember seeing a pretty good picture id page of the most common reef pests, but I cant find it right now. I want to say it was on melev's reef...
Reefkeeping Magazine has some really good articles on common pests. At the bottom of the page they have links to other articles.

Thx again I bookmarked it. I'm sure it'll come in handy. I'm also sure that site is a small margin of creatures. Thanks again thou is easy to read and has great photos.

It's definitely very basic but at least it's a good starting point

Not parasites usually, just the normal living beneficial creatures found in a reef tank, coming from "live" rock.
