I want to try breeding some ramshorn and shrimp for GSP's by getting around 50 of each to start with. Would this tank be an adequate size? Also any tips are very much welcome.

You have plenty of room for rams and rcs to breed in there http://www.aqadvisor.com/AqAdvisor.php? ... ode=simple :D

Im breeding rcs and rams as well and they are very peaceful and both breed like crazy :D

Just make sure you get a heater and a filter for the tank. When I first started out breeding snails I just put a heater in the tank, and it got stagnant very quickly and the water was extremely cloudy. I now have a small filter running on the tank and it's perfect, keeps things clean and clear, which I'm sure the snails appreciate.

Right now I don't have my shrimp in the snail breeder tank, but I do have some ramshorn in the tank where the shrimp are. They all seem fine together. Heck, I even have a red-claw crab in the tank with my shrimp and even he doesn't seem to cause any problems. I think he might get lucky and grab the odd shrimp here and there, but as quick as the shrimp breed, it doesn't make much difference. :D

Thank You, I was thinking about buying the full setup with a 20g. Looks like I might as well :)
