Hi All

the past week my topas has been getting very bloated on the left hand side when he eats, not just the normal round bellow but very large on the one side, it goes after a few hours but comes again the next time he eats.

I have tryed feeding evey other day but its the same

First thought is perhaps an intestinal blockage of some sort. You can Try Epsom salt which is used for constipated puffers. This may loosen it up and can't hurt to give it a go. 1tbsp per 10 gallons of water.

my F8 does this at every meal. He seems very normal otherwise and he has always done this for as long as I've had him. He gets a normal round belly, then as he eats it bulges to one side. Ill probibly try some epson salts in case also. glad you asked : ]
