Dwarf Puffers and Irrubesco Puffers Together

A short while back someone asked on here if they could put dwarf puffers together with irrubesco .... and admittedly I replied that I would not try it because I thought the dwarf puffers would be nippy, and I know that irrubesco can sometimes be nippy as well. :(
Then, it happened that I needed to put my irrubesco into the same tank with my dwarf puffers, out of necessity because I thought I was getting a Fang's puffer (which cannot be kept with any other puffers) - as it turned out, instead of a Fang's I've got another Abei, but still, can't put the irrubesco in with the Abei, that would be "not good"! :nope:
Anyway, I just wanted to say that it appears that my dwarf puffers and my irrubesco are getting along really well. So well in fact, that I might not rehome my redeyes. I thought there would be chasing and nipping, but what I'm seeing is all of them just going about their business. There's lots to swim around, in and out of, and plants to hide in and around, so the line of sight is broken up quite nicely. But I've not seen any aggression exhibited on either side, and I am soooo happy that they are getting along, not sure what I'd do if they weren't. :?
So I suppose that sometimes things seem like they won't work until tried .... and this appears to be another combination that appears to work. Yes, I know time will be the true test, but at least they aren't tearing at each other right now as I feared they would. So that is a step in the right direction at least. I will keep everyone updated on this interesting combination. :D

+1 Keep us updated!! ... I've recently seen some weird puffer&puffer combinations, like I was telling you Suzanne about the guy who had a ceylon, GSP and stars n' stripes puffer in a tank together, then in the same tank on the other side of a divider was a porcupine puffer.
