I finally got the Sea Apple I always wanted! I could never afford one & was always worried about it killing all my fish but I found one at Coral Reef for $40 & I have a tank with a killer tube anemone who ate all my fish. It's already feeding. I'll get some pics a little later but it looks a lot like this:

Looked one up on you tube, looks alien LOL! but very cool, I read in one of the comments that when they die, they release a toxin that kills everything in the tank?

Realized that approximately 2 seconds after posting and edited it to reflect my brainfart, apparently you were FAST! Refreshing too quickly, thought this was the porcupine puffer thread for a second there...

I know nothing about marine fish and or living things ... so what is that considered as being, not a fish obviously. It is like a living coral or something else?
Definitely interesting looking that's for sure. You seem to have the knack with marine tanks PP.

Sea Cucumber, filter feeding.
PP, do you have a phyto culture or are you feeding bottled phyto? That would a killer non-photosynthetic tank center piece, with carnation corals, sun corals, flame scallop, and gorgonians!!!
Either way very cool

and good luck!

It's considered an invertebrate. I have DT's phytoplankton for him. He seems to be eating all the time.
