I have this lg df puffer in a 10+gal tank. i have my eye on theis small lined puffer. could i house them togeher until get my 90gal set up?

Nope. A large dogface shouldn't be in a tank that's anywhere near 10gal either. How long until your 90gal is set up?

ETA: Not really relevant anymore is it What are you planning on having in each of the tanks? The dogface and the other one in the 90gal?

ok, i have a 120g tank in it is my df pufer,3 damsel,h.tusk,pinktail triger. i will be getting a 90gal to set up tomorrow.
my question is can a dog-face pufer and a Striped Dogface get along? i have seen multiple df pufers in the same tank before.

how about a divider? you could get a lighting pannel grid from the hardware store for less than 15 bucks... that should do for a little while until your other tank is set up. just a thought.

i use lighting pannel grids, and hold them in with large suction cups. you can cut them to fit the size you need. (they are plastic grids with 1/2" holes, used to disperse light from flourescent tube lights)

i hope this helps a little... it would probably work for temporary purposes anyway, especially if you dont want to risk passing up that lined puff & it not be there when ur ready.

i would be wary of keeping them together even with a divider. puffs are super resourceful when they want to cause trouble
im always amazed at how ingeniuos we hobbyists are. a real bunch of ichthyological mcgyvers
