Figure 8 vs GSP Personality...

Hello
I am in the process of getting 2 figure 8 puffers and am curious about their personality.
The only Figure 8's i have been able to see in person have been in poor health, sluggish and not all that active. I did however see some GSP's that were speedy little devils, buzzing all around their small tank at the fish store.
I am curious if a healthy figure 8 puffer would be just as lively as a healthy GSP?

Ditto. Of course, their personality does vary from fish to fish, but they are very active and explore everything. I had one F8 that was rather shy (just lost him 2 days ago) and was reluctant to come up to the glass until I got another one, Schnitzel. Schnitzel is much more, um, boisterous I guess. At first he was a little aggressive with fin nipping until he established his place and then was fine, but he had no fear of the other fish and would gladly push into the mob to get his share of food. Grun would sort of hang back more until Schnitzel came along. Grun was getting more and more confident and was starting to trust me more. Even though he was more shy, he would explore the tank and would come up to beg for food (just would shy away if I moved to fast). They're entertaining little guys for sure!

My f8s are very active and curious little cuties. They are big puffer personality in a small package.
