Has anyone used this on their GSPs before? Does it actually work or should I just leave it in the closet? A friend gave me a bottle of it.

My tank is really cloudy bcoz of the unwashed Aragonite I used.

Try putting an old piece of T-shirt in your filter cartridge for a day or two. Also, do lots of water changes and vacuums!

LPG's basc point is sound. It is usually better (for the keeper and the fish) to keep up with the routine chores well than to look for, and pay for, "aids" to "improve" things.

"Clarity" is a flocculent - that translates into an additive which makes particulates clump together. The clumped particles can be captured by coarser filters than the smaller, individual particles.

If your filtration is not fine enough to maintain the clarity you want, then you might be better off looking for a medium with finer pores to capture more. But do not forget that finer filters do clog faster also, and require more upkeep. A clogged filter is no good to you or the the fish.

I add filter floss to my filters to catch the finer particles & "polish" the water. Change out when it gets clogged.

Clarity came with a combo pack by Seachem called HeadStart. It comes with Prime, Clarity, and Stability. I used it before I found out facts about GSPs, before I had them in a 5 gal tank and didn't know how sensitive they are.

I'm using the T-shirt method LGP suggested and it is working.

Good! Check for bypass - which means it is clogging,j ust rinse or replace as needed.
