It took my about two months or so but I finely got my little Congo to eat shrimp and other freezer food. For the longs he just simple refused to eat it

Congrats!!! I just got 1 and I'm hoping to do the same. That's a big step with these guys from what I understand.

Excellent dmond31 !! As I'm sure you're beginning to find out, Congo puffers are lovable little puffers and they have something special about them. At least that's how I feel about mine. They are definitely in my Top 5 list of Most-Loved puffers.
They can be very finicky though, but well worth the effort it takes to get them eating.
