Australian Banded Puffers

Hi

Thought Id share some pics of this native australian puffers
they are mostly sold as freshwater/brackish but research suggests that they will need full marine as they grow.

they seem to be very peaceful puffers...

but still juvenile stage atm.. who knows if they turn to monsters as they mature

i hope so.. =)

But puffers are not monsters - they just get hungry and so well-equipped for eating... :)

Those puffers are so beautiful!!! Aw, there's no way those are in Maine...

apparently their lifecycle are very similar to takifugu...
