Looks pretty darn good! The cement, and rocks seem a little thick though, no? They seem to be taking up a lot of room that could be used for swimming! lol Just my two cents anyway.. Otherwise it looks awesome! :D

& Just wondering, why would there be kitty litter in the substrate? Does it act like a good substrate?
I've just never seen it done that way before!!

kitty litter will not be in my tank, I will use gravel like always, or maybe sand?

But I will keep you guys posted how it goes and yes, it goes take some room but I think I will keep DP's in there so.

I think it's a very cool idea, and it did look good, would probably look really nice in a bigger tank. I didn't like the kitty litter idea, but hey, that's changeable. However .... I'm concerned about the safeness of concrete in my tank with fish -- is it okay? Won't it hurt my fish and plants in the long run?

I'd be very interested in seeing your end result PolishPuff, so please post pics if you end up doing this. :)

OK, I got all the supplies I will need for this project today. I will start tomorrow with one of my friends. After reading all about it, ( b4 I'll spend $ ) it looks like this tank will be ready for adding fish in about a month. I need to filter water to lower PH, 50% water changes every week....

You can buy one but they are not cheap http://www.gillsnfins.ca/deluxe3d.php

I like it minus the kitty litter. That would be sweet set up for a fancy betta and some live plants. I may have to add this to my to do list. hehe

nice project I've seen the same vid before. Yea, my only conscern would be the amount of space taken up by the display.

Well done

+1 That's what I was thinking. But if it were a bigger tank it would be okay. That'd be perfect for dwarf shrimp, though. They'd love to climb that.

Looks like after I will add all the fake rocks to my 29gal tank, I will have about 19-20 gallons for my five or six DP's 3 OTO and some shrimp
