Looks pretty darn good! The cement, and rocks seem a little thick though, no? They seem to be taking up a lot of room that could be used for swimming! lol Just my two cents anyway.. Otherwise it looks awesome!
& Just wondering, why would there be kitty litter in the substrate? Does it act like a good substrate?
I've just never seen it done that way before!!

kitty litter will not be in my tank, I will use gravel like always, or maybe sand?
But I will keep you guys posted how it goes and yes, it goes take some room but I think I will keep DP's in there so.

I think it's a very cool idea, and it did look good, would probably look really nice in a bigger tank. I didn't like the kitty litter idea, but hey, that's changeable. However .... I'm concerned about the safeness of concrete in my tank with fish -- is it okay? Won't it hurt my fish and plants in the long run?
I'd be very interested in seeing your end result PolishPuff, so please post pics if you end up doing this.

OK, I got all the supplies I will need for this project today. I will start tomorrow with one of my friends. After reading all about it, ( b4 I'll spend $ ) it looks like this tank will be ready for adding fish in about a month. I need to filter water to lower PH, 50% water changes every week....
