When I got home, there was a little "bug" on the front glass of the tank...must have come in on some of the live rock...
A quick panicky search on google found info about bristleworms "as small as 1 inch". This thing is waaaay under 1 inch, it's 1/4 inch at the very most and it was out with the lights on so I don't think it's one??? But it is a little bristle-y. It's reddish with 2 forward-pointing-in-a-v-shape antennae.
I really would say it looks more like a bug than a worm, though.
Should I kill or flush or ??? it or toss it back in? I want bio-diversity in this tank but don't want to knowingly ignore a potential hazard...

Do a search for copepods.

I think I have a lot of tiny copepods but the pic that's concerning me is this...from http://www.xtalworld.com/Aquarium/hitchfaq.htm The ones that I think are copepods are much smaller than the one I pulled out...unless he's a different type or adult? I'm not overly concerned, though, the inhabitants in the tank (Doug and some hermit crabs) are all waaaaay bigger than him...

Isopods are just larger copepods. Unless you've got this one:
