A 72 gallon would ok only for a short while, Fahaka's grow very fast and would need an upgrade pretty quick. I have some GSP's and they are just (if not more) as active/mean as my Fahakah..You can house two adult GSP's in that size of a tank but they are brackish water fish...

I had my Fahaka in a 72 gallon Bowfront for about 6 months I think. He is in a 150 gallon now. I need to take some pics as I've been away from this site for a while. But yeah he outgrew that tank pretty fast but I had the 150 sitting waiting for him so it was a smooth transition. 72 is way too small as a permanent home so if thats the biggest you can go, then don't do it. Maybe you can get a congo or an arrowhead? just a thought
