A new bigger home for my GSP's
After 2 years of trying to improve my GSP tank its time for a new tank! A bit bigger and a little better!
My old tank is a Juwel Rio180 and now they are getting a 240ltr tank.
But this time everything should be good and exactly how i want
I've found a beautiful tank with a frame.. only he is gold and that's not so beautiful i think

Also i want to try to make a other kind of back..
But some pics, better than my horrible englisch
Muk also want's to paint
Ready!
And then I discovered that it was the wrong side of the tank! The dark paint was almoust done.. What to do.. painting the other side and hoping that the paint was enough, and it was!
This is the back now!
I'm really happy with it and i hope it looks a bit more like how it is IRL

Now time to go to the glass factory.. to be continued!

Nice gradient! I like the idea of just painting the glass, rather than using a background. Muk is adorable!

I've got a tank that someone had painted the back and both ends blue, then I put a pink flourescent submersible light down into the tank, what a cool look that is. Not sure if my puffer likes it though. It reminds me of the sort of lighting you'd find in a cool nightclub. Le Puffer Club!
You've done a really nice job there bauk!

Lol ...you have any photos?
I painted my C. Lorteti's tank black on the back and sides they love it! Looks nice too and I think it keeps the light from the window off of them...

Thx everybody!
For a year i always paint my glass, bleu, black, just what i think is nice with teh color of the fish
I also thought of a lamp behind the tank, but i don't like the light in my room.. i want a dark room with only light IN my tanks
I think, for a marine tank blue is better for the colors
I just cant wait to see it with erevything in it! A few weeks is much to lang!
I've goit my tape, my other paint, and later this day i've got the glass for the space by the skimmer..so wish me luck!
Edit.. i see now the board Marine Tanks.. maybee a better place for my story as Marine Puffers? Sorry!

It looks like someone moved it for you.
I agree that blue is nice for a marine tank - especially a reef tank, since it makes a nice tropical blue water look. (Although, this won't be a reef tank, I guess.)
And luck luck luck! I wish you lots of luck!

maybe you should have gave them caption, I'm a little confused, but its still looks like a great home and I'm sure they'll love it!

"Maybe you should have given them captions" is grammatically correct. Maybe that was the problem for the translation site?
Basically, she means that if you had put a caption, words explaining what's happening in the picture, it would have been easier for her to understand what was in the picture.

Looks like an in-tank refugium to me. Good job making that. I'm too lazy to ever make one.

She wants a story by every pic? Is that what you mean?
I understand, but you all have no idea how much time it is for me to typ this.. and than also that you must understand it! In Dutch i have the long story.. if you wanna try Google Translate
@ Robert_hollis.. refugium? No idea..
It's an almoust closed area in the tank where i can put my skimmer, temp and other stuf.. Like this way the surface water is always clean and i don't see the ugly skimmer!
I hope now that you understand why i made it!
Thx for al the happy words!

The only thing i must do is make something on the glas.. No idea what i should do already, but if you have any idea's.. let me know!
It must be not see trow en not black..and the only idea that i have is plastc glas or gleu with some coral sand.. so every idea is welcome!

Maybe to cover the glass in the corner you could talk to "KorrepZ" about what he used for a background on his tanks?
It could look like a castle in the corner.

Is this some kind of a filter?
Looks like a inside tank filter
