Thought you might wanna see my baby...if this hasn't worked, someone pls help!(not the sharpest tool in the box)

He now has a new filter and pump(since these pics)...the water is crystal and he's happy as larry! So cool to see him all active and not so stressed...he comes to see me now when I go in the room... rocks my world!

OK got it working I edited your code so it worked. you only need one "[img] and [/img]" around each picture. and for some reason your BBcode was disabled on the post...

anyway great pics and the little guy looks fat and happy.

any other information on his tank like size salinity temp ?

...NOTE: the eggs on the lump of amethyst stage left..Re: my "Mysterious eggs" post!...they're still appearing even now (after Mickey ate all the snails/shrimps in tank!)

Feeds on snails: any variety!/Cockles/bloodworm/tubifex worms/pet shrimps(!)/occasionally larvae..not good, I know, but he loves them, so as a treat...!

*looking much much happier now he has a light, better filter,salinity&pH stable... I went away for the weekend as well and, though he won't admit it, I reckon he missed me.Very affectionate now!

I love his Mickey spot. Very cute.

Are those same fish (tetra & pleco/catfish) still his tank mates?

The minnow is still in there at the moment...Barry White and Spot(the prehistoric catfish) are also, but both were bought from Brackish tanks at the LFS...Spot is some variation on a pictus, and it would seem that Barry is some dinosaur who could live in a rabbit hutch...he's been in freshwater, brackish water, coldwater and was the only survivor of the horrible flesh-eating thing that killed Rufus and their tankmates!

* Plec ("frog") has been rehomed because he was around 13" and growing!

The pleco will not be happy or live to it's full life expentancy in BW. Especially when you start raising the SG higher towards SW, since the GSP is larger. Should be around 1.015 for his size.

thanks for your concern, but that is the main reason that the plec has now gone (that and the fact that he was getting pretty huge)... and I am in the process of raising the SG in the tank right now...lengthy process & trying to do it whilst attempting to keep Mickey as calm as possible because since Pluto went, he's very very prone to stress.

who is Pluto?

Pluto was a rescue mission...the saddest-looking GSP you will ever see, was all curled up and black (couldn't even see any pattern on him/no neon head, nothing)... so I made the guy at the LFS fish him out with mickey and took him home. within a week, he was bright yellow and active, wouldn't sit still, very, very friendly... but he never got tubby no matter how much he ate, and he died within 3 weeks.
I reckon he probably had some sort of parasite, because he really did look happier and did eat.
Luckily, nothing seems to have passed to Mickey; that was months ago now&mickey(as you can see) is a chubby boy!...Mickey's a really strange GSP, though, because he was all over Pluto; followed him around&sort of hid behind him... since then, Mickey's really shy... I am still in the process of trying to sort out my Nitrate problem, though, so understandable that he's quite easily stressed.

Basically thats how I came around with my GSP's. I was on the hunt for one specific one that I saw at a store close to home. Went back and (s)he was gone. Went back a week later and saw 2 sad GSP's and now there home with me happy as ever!

My GSP's were actually very healthy when I bought them, and they've stayed that way!

Some people arn't that lucky. Although, I feel more satisfaction saving sick ones and letting them live their healthy lives in my tank. Makes me work for them.
