Identification?

Been thinking about turning Marine for some time now.
Browsing the net I found a picture of
this magnificent Puffer.
Seems to be some kind of Porcupine?
Clues?

it has some characteristics of a burfish but thats as far as it goes I have never seen something like that before. Buy first, ask Questions later.

Tis a puffer... "Burrfish" and "porcupine fish" are generic terms referring to a group of species which share similar traits. Similar to how we talk about a "Target" group.

From the angle of the second pic it looks more like some type of burrfish but I do not know what type.

Aka 'Spiny Boxfish'. They are very hard to get to eat. I had one for quite a while, the only food that he really ate well for a long time were fiddler crabs. They get skinny really fast. (the spiny box, that is) They need to eat all the time. Awsome fish, byt a little tricky.

It has the same spines but its coloration is really different than the C. antennatus. Hmm.
