Has anyone had any luck with housing GSPs with any other brackish fish? Monos, scats, etc.

I haven't tried any other brackish fish other than mollies with my GSP, which will probably keep being true as she's been in full marine conditions for several months now. She's sharing the tank now with two little blue damsels, which seems to be working out fairly well so far, but I have tried black mollies in the past and that didn't work out so well: the mollies bullied the heck out of my GSP and wouldn't let her eat, so they went to another home.

The problem is with monos--they're a large, schooling species, so a school of adults will require a massive tank. Scats are the garbage cans of the BW world--like goldfish & Oscars, so they require a minimum of 50g ea.

My fat buddies have been somewhat sleepy lately. Well, I've had them for about four or six months; I'm not really sure. When I first purchased them, they were extremely active little buggers and only slept at night. They take a lot of periodic naps throughout the day now which worries me. My water quality seems fine: SG at 1.015, Ammonia at 0, Nitrite at 0, Nitrates >20, temperature at a stable 80 and PH at a consistent 8.2. I feed them a healthy variety of food and rotate their meals everyday. Both of them get along well--always have. I probably could use a tad bit more decor, but I'm not sure if this would explain their ongoing sleepiness. I thought they might be lonely with just the two of them in a big tank--they're only 2 inches or so. Anyone have any clues?

You mean nitrate <20, right? How big is their tank?

It's a 60 gallon; I have plans to add a wet dry filter to expand its capacity also.
