Well the last few days chubbs has been acting strange, hiding not eating and not being able to swim right. I was wondering if anyone has any advice because i took him out of the large tank and placed him in a hostipal tank all he does is lay around and not move and somtiems hes on his side also hes not brightly colored anymore hes dark.. Somone please help?

2. tank size 20 gallon high the only thing in it is him

3.feeding every other day ( mussels, small snails, blood worms )
Things iv used in the tank ( cycle, water conidtionar,marin salt )

4.The only thing different i have done with the tank is over around the plants and rocks so he wasent bored.

5. Cycled the tank before placing the puffer in the tank has been setup for 7 months, but i had to recycle and nows its only been up for 1 month.

Re-do your nitrate test. You should be showing nitrates if the tank is cycled. Make sure you really shake the bottles of the additives and the test tubes like the directions say, if you don't the nitrates will show 0 also.
