Right got my hands on six abei puffers after looking for them all yeah, woop woop. These guys are very small at the moment and i have them sitting in a 125 liter tank, setting up my 4ft 3 tanks in one system again this week to move 3 over into each there own tank and leave 3 in the 125, trying to find pair is the over all goal. Has anyone got any clues on sexing these.

^ Not to sound rude or anything, but your going to need to upgrade those tanks for them pretty soon since the abei's will eventually need to have 95Litres of water each...

But congrats all the same on finding them, since i've been looking for Abei's and Cross Rivers forever and still haven't seen even one for sale... so best of luck with them and hope that you are ready for the upgrade as they grow...

Wow... great news on them but I agree, you're going to need more tanks. Also, if they get anything like George, my Abei, they'll not like being with other fish.

lol i know i will need to upgrade, i was only expecting 2 ya see as i only ordered 2 from singapore but they sent me six so i brought them all home, like i was saying the goal is to find a pair so i will be selling at least 3 at some point.

^ Could you possibly send me the link to the site where you ordered your Puffers from in Singapore... since i live in Hong Kong it would be great to know a store that can ship rare puffers overseas to me... Thanks...

Sorry mate I work at fish shop thats how i get my lists. But any way i looked again on the list today and there where none listed On the plus side i am going to look at a 4x2x16inchs tank soon works out about 300 litres. will make a great tank for a breeding project

^ for a second, i thought you were getting a 4inch X 2 inch x 16inch tank... until i realized you were talking about a 4ft x 2ft tank...
