MS222 and Mbu puffers

Is it safe to use MS222 on Mbu Puffers?
My puffer is roughly 15 inches now and has a sore mouth. May have some shell stuck in his mouth hence the reason for asking this question.

Is there anyone on here who has had experience of using it in large fish? I see no reason why it shouldn't be as safe for them as for other puffers, just be nice to hear from people who have used it & can let AngelMbu know of any possible complications, before she has a go.

Our Mentor, Puffer Queen, who 1st alerted us to this product, specificly uses this for her large, SW puffers.
