GSP quiestions

Can any expert or some1 who has advice or a guide tell me what i should so before i get a gsp and if they get older what salt and all that cause i am so confused and i really want to learn more info and have them as a pet so can some1 plz help me. im confused because some site told me to add some marine salt when older and then cycling and im really confused so if u guys can help itll be so awesome
