Hi all, we are extremely short on Puffer of the Month entries this month and the competition is scheduled to begin in a few days!

Lets get those puffer pics sent in!!

I've not entered George, instead it's a picture of a puffer I saw while diving in the Red Sea (but you can still vote for it )

I have tried to use the picture editing thingy, but am a bit useless I'm afraid & file still too big. How the devil do I go about reducing its size?

Do you use photoshop? If so, go to Image/ Image size.... change it into smaller dimensions (largest side 800 pixels), then save as jpg at 11 quality at most

If you don't, I could resize it for you over email. You'll have my word that I'm not gonna do anything else with it and delete it from my hard drive once it's done (I'll send you my email address via PM)

I use the export function in Picasa to resize...

Thanx for the advice from you both - I will try to do it myself first & if no good, then I will contact you recombinantrider.

I don't take great pictures & my camera is a bit rubbish, but I like the picture that I had in mind!

Yeah, my camera knows more about taking pictures than I do LOL - I just go law of averages... if I take LOADS of pictures one or two are bound to be okay

Well, I've entered a picture & no is allowed to laugh at my rubbish photography attempt!

I leave tomorrow for a camping trip, so if we don't fill up by morning, I'll be gone all weekend and either one of the other techs will have to take over or the contest won't be posted until Sunday or Monday at the earliest.

I'll go try again. This is gonna be funny how badly I lose.
