GSP in a 400g with 2 scats? Good idea, bad idea?

So that's my question. I have two scats living on freshwater still, but I want to move them to a better home soon.
I bought them back when I thought fish store-employees knew something about fish. They told me they would grow to 5 inches. But when I invest in a 400 or 500gallon tank(which I believe is the minimum), I would like a puffer in there. Considering their allmost identical needs in terms of water and such, I thought a gsp would be perfect.
The scats seem seriously tough fish, but I know how gsp's are so.... Do you guys think they would be cool?
