What puffer for a 37 litre planted tank?

Hi,

After a few years away from fishkeeping I've got my hands on a 37 litre tank (10 US Gallons).

I'm really keen to get a pufferfish, as I've found them really interesting for years.

I'd also like a heavily planted tank, as they interest me alot.

Are puffers compatible with planted tanks? What would you recommend?

Thanks!

Sure, most of them are compatible, with only a couple of the larger species liking to tear up plants. Most puffers really like planted tanks. With the size of your tank, I'd reccomend dwarf puffers, who absolutely adore planted tanks. You can read up on them in the PufferPedia and the Puffer Library, which are both under the Learn tab at the top of the page.

Dwarfs would suit that tank! I'd stick to only two dwarfs and nothing else.... They are still one of my favourite puffers! And indeed they do love planted tanks!
