I cannot get the nitrite level's to regulate. Ive done 2 water changes in the past week and a half both 10gallons out of my 29 gallon tank.

My ammonia level is always 0 ppm But my nitrite goes from .25-1 I've used products made to lower nitrite levels but it only ends up being temporary.

any ideas??

What test kit are you using? How long has the tank been set up? What fish are in there? Any missing lately?
