Can def. see the lump. Does there appear to be a "head" to it, like an abscess or spot? Or is it completely smooth? Could be trauma to his head from a bump, causing soft tissue swelling or a small wound that has become infected? Is he well in himself, feeding etc. Any distortion to his eyes/facial features?

it is smooth, looks more like swelling underneath its skin.
I don't see any wound on him and he's eating well and really active.

the only thing new i added to the tank was a live red-claw crab a week ago as like a treat.
But i did De-Clawed the crab (like i cut the claws out before i put it into the tank).
The crab went hiding right after i dropped it in, and disappeared from the tank the next day.
could it be the crab attacked my GSP?
but the hump just appeared yesterday and the crab was like a week ago.

is there anything i could do right now?

It could be just a deformity. Not every puffer is the same.

Personally, I wouldn't attempt any treatment without having some idea of what it is. If it came up quite suddenly, then it is unlikely a deformity as would have been apparent before. Think some sort of trauma to the area is most likely. If he is well & behaving normally, I would leave well alone & see if it develops into anything, or goes of its own accord. My own GSP recently had an abscess near his mouth - this ruptured by itself & I treated the water with Melafix. He just has a tiny scar there now. Let us know what (if anything) happens over the next few days though!

If your puffer isn't behaving oddly, or doing anything strange, I'd just wait it out, could just go away as quickly as it came up. Hopefully it WILL just go away and your puff will be healthy and happy!
