Here are some recent pictures of my sole, or flounder if you prefer. I thought I'd share the pictures since it was amazing that the sole actually stayed out in the open for so long, especially with me hovering around the tank with a camera. The fish is about 3 inches in length and I've had it for about 9 months.The first two pictures were taken with the flash off, the others with the flash on. I apologize if the picture quality is not the best, I'm an amateur at aquarium photography.

When I still lived in Florida, I had a freshwater flounder and I thought it was so cool. I haven't seen any over here in England, but I do think they are so interesting and I'd be thinking about having one if I could find one.

what do you feed this guy?

Live bloodworms/blackworms and frozen foods like plankton and bits of krill. I feed it in the evening right before I turn out the lights. I usually target feed it, I have a fairly strong current in the tank and if I don't hold the lighter foods, like the worms, in place, they would drift by before it could eat them. I know at some point the food will settle on the bottom and the sole will find it, it's more for my own piece of mind that I keep target feeding it. And the interaction is cool.
